Exciting Friday
Today was a great day. First we had an assembly where a band played some songs for us. There were saxaphones, flutes, clarinets, trumpets, french horns, and more! Somebody played trumpet in a song, an he had a solo that he played really well. After that we had spelling tests and music. Then we had a yoga session with Liam’s mom. We had lunch, math, comparing and contrasting N.A. and us and we wraped it up with robots.

Perseverence Wednesday
Today Mrs. McBride came in and we had a fabulous lesson on perseverence. We have been talking about this word a lot lately and I think it is one of the most important words we will focus on this year. We talked about Samantha Garvey and how she has had great success, despite a situation that is not easy to live with. Think about how you approach challenges. Do you do everything you can do to overcome them? Are you driven to succeed no matter how difficult something is? These are important questions to ask yourself and reflect upon. You don’t want to live with regrets. Try your best at all times, not matter how difficult something is. I posted the video below just in case you want to share it with someone at home.
